Lindsay McLaren

Lindsay McLaren is a registered physiotherapist who completed her BSc Physiotherapy degree at the University of Witwatersrand in 2003.
Lindsay remains a member of the Golden Key Society at the University. She received her Post Graduate certificate in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) in 2007.
Lindsay has supervised students at both university and OMT levels and is committed to ongoing learning through independent study and continuing professional development.
She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the South African Society for Physiotherapy, as well as the Health Professions Council in the UK.
Following her community service year she gained work experience in the UK in the musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and community care fields. She went on to receive her Post Graduate certificate in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) in 2007.
She worked in a learning environment for 3 years at the Union Hospital where she gained invaluable experience in the fields of orthopaedics, and in-hospital treatment of cardiac and ICU patients.
Her fields of interest include management of all musculoskeletal pains and injuries including TMJ(jaw) pain. She also has many years of experience working with post operative rehabilitation, sports injuries and care of the elderly.
Lindsay played both tennis and hockey at provincial level and has a keen interest in all sports. She currently enjoys trail running and hiking.
In 2008 she opened her own private practice in the Sandton Medpark building, where she can be found today.
